I need a new logo for my website/ marketing etc.

The Logo is for my Krav Maga club, i have attached my old one, i would like to keep the chevron element in some form or other. I liked that for the link to military and the motion aspect. i want to be as true to my core value of wanting to teach everybody effective self defence so they can be confident and safe. I like bold strong type fonts and colours if possible to be in the red end of the spectrum. I would like it to feel as modern as possible and if possible feel inclusive.
