Design a logo for a charitable organiation

Hello Creative People:

I need your help to design a logo for a charity I am going to set up. The charity is to commemorate an important historical figure who studied in the UK around 1880 and later return to China to became the most important thinker, writer and educator.

I've already had some ideas on the design of the logo but hope to work together with you to produce an impressive design. The work might involve an illustration of this person's portrait, then add charity's name (both in English and Chinese) to create an instant memorable logo which has appeals to both English and Chinese people. You don't need to understand Chinese, I will provide you with all the Chinese characters to be used in the design.

Ideally, I hope you are based in London, then we can probably meet for a chat and I will show you all the materials I got, but other parts of UK are also fine as we can communicate via the phone.
