Buzzard Group

I need a logo for a brand that doesn't yet exist - Buzzard Group.

The company will sell promotional products / branded merchandise and corporate gifts for events and general marketing - so it needs to be recognisable and distinctive within that space, and needs to appeal to marketing professionals and event organisers.

I've pulled together a basic logo using pre-made bits I've found online but it looks very amateur, I need it to look much more professional. What I do like about the design I've come up with is the distinctive buzzard symbol (although the tail needs to be rounded off underneath so the outline is consistent with the fanned look of the wings (and like the tail of an actual Buzzard (as in the Common Buzzard, native to the UK, not a Vulture (which Americans commonly call Buzzards))).

Colour scheme is up to you - I was struggling to incorporate colours so I went for black and white but maybe it needs some gold in there?
