Branding of logo

I have two ground maintenance company’s (grass and grounds ltd) and (scenic grounds ltd) neither have there own logo that works. What I really want is a brand (logo/ colouring ) which would look the same for both. While clients need to see the correct company name due to contracts what I want is that in affect both would be identifiable as looking similar and the same and relevant .

Currently our uniform is navy and name written

Then I can start looking at marketing and getting the company’s moving forward.
