Branding, Logo Needed for Blog Site

I have recently set up a new blog site. i have for the name but I need a logo and some branding done.
The site is an IT technical resource site which will contain tutorials and high technical articles on IT support, networking, Windows server products etc.
It is a wordpress blog.

I don't mind if this job is broken down into two stages. the first one is I need a logo and an icon for the website itself when it is bookmarked. After this i may be happy to do the rest of the branding myself or i may ask for more work for colour schemes, font sizes etc..
