Brand Designer Needed: Logo, Illustrations & Web Polish

About the Project
We're building a secure digital estate vault where people store everything their family would need (bank accounts, pensions, insurance, passwords, documents) in one encrypted place. When the time comes, trusted delegates can access what they need securely.
Think of it as a digital safe deposit box for your entire estate. We serve both individuals (B2C) and professionals like will writers and solicitors (B2B).


What We Need
Our marketing website is built and functional — 6 pages, 4 languages, coded in Next.js with Tailwind CSS. The layout, structure, and all content are finalised. We need a designer to:

Design a logo — icon + wordmark, favicon, all standard variants (horizontal, stacked, icon-only, colour versions)
Create 6 feature illustrations for our Features page (currently grey placeholders)
Create 1 white-label dashboard mockup for our B2B Professionals page
Create 5 B2B value proposition illustrations for the Professionals page
Visual polish pass across all 6 pages — refine spacing, shadows, hover states, icon consistency
Optional: 3 "How It Works" illustrations for the home page, social media templates


What This Is NOT

Not a website rebuild — the HTML/CSS structure is set, we just need visual polish and assets
Not UX design — the application itself is separate, this is marketing site only
Not copywriting — all text is finalised in 4 languages
Not development — we handle all code implementation of your designs


Brand Direction

Warm but not sentimental — we talk about real things (bank accounts, pensions) plainly
Trustworthy and modern — serious technology explained simply, approachable not clinical
Empowering, not anxious — about taking control, not about fear or worst-case scenarios

Colour palette is fixed (navy, teal, gold, warm white — all hex values provided in the spec).
Fonts are set (DM Sans headings, Inter body — both Google Fonts).
The visual sweet spot: more polished than traditional estate planning sites, more serious than Cake.co, warmer than corporate B2B platforms, more British than US competitors.
Reference style: Modern UK fintech (Monzo, Starling) but with warmer, earthier tones and a family/estate focus.

Illustration Style

Flat or semi-flat vector illustrations
Brand palette only (navy, teal, gold, warm white)
Clean, minimal, modern — NOT hand-drawn, NOT 3D, NOT photorealistic
Consistent style across all illustrations
Important: No grief imagery, no hospitals, no funerals. This product is about preparation and care, not about dying.

We've done the homework — you'll have everything you need to hit the ground running.

About You

Experience designing for fintech, SaaS, or professional services (portfolio examples required)
Strong illustration skills — we need someone who can do both logo design AND custom illustrations
Comfortable working with an existing colour palette and brand guidelines
Able to deliver web-ready assets (SVG, optimised PNG, Figma files)
Good communication — we're a small team and value clear, responsive collaboration
UK-based or UK-timezone preferred (not required)


Budget & Timeline

Budget: £1,000 for the full scope (negotiable based on experience and portfolio quality)
Timeline: 3–4 weeks from kickoff to final delivery
Payment: Milestone-based — 30% upfront, 40% on logo + first illustrations approved, 30% on completion
