Description
Experience Level: Expert
I'm a new business retailing womens clothing and accessories through events and evenually internet.
I need some artwork for my logo, etc that i can use for business cards, fliers, website etc.
I have a basic outline of the design I would like that just needs to be 'tweeked' and provided in formats i can use for multiple purposes.
The overall design is to be for the business cards, however elements of the design need to be accessible for me to use in fliers, comp. slips, website and for other printing purposes eg clothing.
I need the artwork to be of excellent quality and in formats I can use for the above or can easily convert.
attached is a sample business card with some of the elements i require. The womans head in the background is an essential part of my design. This needs to be reproduced as part of the whole design and separately so it can be used for other purposes. I like that it is more of a shadow as this fits with what I want to convey. The flowers i'm not sure about. I like them, however I intend to introduce mens clothing into my range so I think something less feminine to balance the design. The woman represents a goddess of fire, passion, spirit etc so the masculine part of the design needs to fit in with this. Again the Masculine element will also need to be available separately for use in other areas.
(The writing on this sample is not part of the design.)
I am undecided about the colour scheme. I like the grey tones but am open to suggestion re colours. For printing on clothing etc, a single colour for each separate element is preferable.
More info if it helps to set the 'scene' for the design: My market is mainly female social dancers, particularly salsa dancers. Salsa is a passionate dance, showing off to your partner and flirting shamelessly. The men lead the dance, however it is their responibility to provide the 'frame' for the beautiful 'picture' that is the women.
