Alternative versions of a logo

I have had a logo designed, but I am not entirely happy with the results. However, I'm struggling to come up with what I'd like to change. I'd like someone to spend some time coming up with 6-8 alternatives, keeping the basic concept and colours of the original. They don't have to be massively polished, I'm hoping that it will just spark some feedback I can go back to the original designer with. I will share the design once I commission the job, but in brief, it's a small icon of a graph, together with the three word brand name.
