Hello, Are you going me to provide me with its SolidWorks or any other 3D design files?
-
Hi Paul,
Is the model supposed to look like its part of the scene or just an overlay? If its to look like its part of the scene you will have problems with lighting as rendering the drone (pretend its a sphere) will have a highlight suggesting the light is coming from a definitive direction. If you background has the sun in a conflicting location it wont matter if its done it 2k, 4K, or 16K its not going to look realistic, because the light sources don't match. Not to bust your bubble, but I think your expectations are a bit unrealistic. Furthermore, if you are expecting camera tracking to match your video sequence then you will have another problem. If your lift off rate and angle are different than what is animated then it will not look natural. I may be interpreting your instructions incorrectly. Could you provide a link to one of your background videos and possibly an example video of what you are trying to achieve?
Thanks -
Can you give more details on the intro clip and what happens during this time period?
also what resolution would you want the animation to be rendered at? All this affects how much work will be needed in making this intro.Paul W.26 Sep 2016The Pro Bono Flyers ...require an Intro Drone Video !!
We require a top level 'intro drone video' featuring the 2016 DJI Phantom 4 Drone. The 3D Model will be provided in a format specified by yourselves current, click onto the link below:- 3ds Max 2012 / V-Ray 2 / 3DS / Autodesk FBX 2009 / OBJ.
TurboSquid (3D Model ...can be provided in a variety of formats)

Our 'logotype' dropping 'The' and displaying only Pro Bono Flyers should be as prominent as possible, displayed on the sides of the drone the same logotype should be displayed around the lens perimeter when viewed directly into the lens.
Setting the scene ...the drone will initially be sat on the ground within a black infinity booth, it should be creatively lite. The drone will then rise up flying before turning to show off the logotype. See the link below which shows the older DJI Phantom 3:-
FIVRR (abzzzdesign - note this ONLY ROUGH STORYBOARD and we're for better !!)

As the drone flys on, the black background will fade into a coloured background image which we were wanting to change on a regular basis to suit the video show spot being made at the time. Intro length roughly twenty to thirty seconds.
With each new video show spot, we want to be able to change each new 'coloured background image background' ourselves to both 'personalise our new intro video' and to also make it more relevant to that clients particular video show spot.
3D Model Specification: Product ID: 1017144 / Published: Mar 15, 2016
Geometry: Polygonal Quads/Tris / Polygons: 104,467 / Vertices: 105,288
Textures: Yes / Materials: Yes / Rigged: No / Animated: No / UV Mapped: Yes
Unwrapped UVs: / Yes, non-overlapping
Our video's are shot at 4K and we'll drop them down to 1080p for the internet, but if we could include a 4K version intro when giving the client hi-res version that would be good we'll be guided by yourselves on this option- the background images are 12M.
Hopefully I have covered 'most things' you will currently need to get a clearer idea of what we are wanting to achieve with our final 'show spot' video clips. And should you want ask any further questions please hesitate to call or e-mail me. Many thanks.

Robert A.26 Sep 2016It seems you have specified £500 per hour for this job. That would be very expensive. So I am of the mind that your budget is around £500. If this is correct, is there any leeway to the budget? Rendering out the frames at 4k and photoreal will take up a lot of time and resource.
