Structural Engineer Required – Loft Conversion (Cardiff, UK)

I have Building Regulations drawings prepared for a loft conversion to a 1930s semi-detached house in Cardiff and require a qualified UK structural engineer to provide the complete structural design package.

Scope of work:
Review the Building Regulations drawings.
Carry out a structural assessment of the proposed loft conversion.

Design the most practical and cost-effective structural solution.

Provide all structural calculations required for Building Regulations.

Provide structural drawings/details for all required structural elements.

Advise whether steel beams (RSJs), timber beams, ridge beams, floor joists, trimmers, padstones or any other structural supports are required, and design them accordingly.

Respond to any reasonable Building Control structural queries if required.
