LIGHTING DESIGN FOR 5 BEDROOM SEMI DETACHED HOUSE IN DUBLIIN

Lighting Designer Required – 5-Bed Semi-Detached House, Dublin

I am looking for an experienced residential lighting designer to produce a professional lighting design and lighting layout for a 5-bedroom semi-detached house in Dublin, Ireland.

Full house renovation / residential project
5-bedroom semi-detached property
AutoCAD drawings will be provided
I already have a good idea of the light fittings / fixtures I would like to use
I can provide details/specifications of the proposed fixtures
Scope of Work

I require someone to review the architectural drawings and develop a professional lighting layout, including:

Recommended positioning of all light fittings
Downlight positions and spacing
Decorative pendant and feature lighting positions
Wall lights where appropriate
LED strip / concealed lighting locations where appropriate
Consideration of furniture layouts, circulation and how each space will be used
Appropriate lighting levels and distribution throughout the house
Switching / lighting control recommendations where appropriate
Clear identification of the different fixture types on the drawings
A professional lighting layout that can be issued to the electrician for installation

The objective is not simply to place lights evenly across the ceilings. I am looking for someone who understands residential lighting design and can consider ambience, task lighting, accent lighting, architectural features and practical everyday use.

Deliverables

Ideally, I would like:

Lighting layout for each floor
Fixture positions clearly dimensioned / located
Fixture schedule / legend
Switching or lighting control recommendations
Final drawings supplied in PDF and AutoCAD/DWG format
Experience Required

Please provide examples of previous residential lighting design projects, preferably houses or high-end residential projects.

Experience working with architectural AutoCAD drawings is essential.
