Interior Design of Open Area Reception

Our client, PGM, is a ‘state-of-the-art’ manufacturer that utilises all the latest equipment and all the latest lean manufacturing techniques to ensure their clients receive value for money custom solutions. Clients use PGM because they offer a manufacturing capability that is governed by cost control, value for money and efficiencies.

They are in the process of constructing a new manufacturing facility to accommodate more work. Attached to the new facility is a large area, approx 20m x 12m with a high vaulted ceiling, that has been allocated to act as a reception area.

Within this area, we have considered the following pieces:

* They would like to display three cars, each that have worked on by PGM.

* A more formal area for meetings.

* Less formal ‘break out’ areas.

We are looking for some creative input into the lay-out of this interior space.

We attach photographs of the space, as well as a few screenshots of some interior spaces that we quite like (however, please do not necessarily be guided by these).

On one of the walls, a timeline would be a nice idea.
