Full architectural/interior design

I’m seeking a talented, experienced Architectural/Interior Designer to collaborate on an upcoming project. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive architectural and interior design services, including creating building control drawings, plans, sections, elevations, 3D models, renderings, mood boards, purchase suggestions, and furniture suggestions. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and other design professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and produce detailed architectural and interior design drawings, including building control drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and 3D models.
2. Create visually stunning renderings and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts and proposals.
3. Prepare mood boards that capture the project's desired aesthetic, style, and atmosphere.
4. Provide expert guidance and recommendations on material selection, finishes, lighting, and colour schemes.
5. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements, goals, and budgets.
6. Present design proposals, concepts, and solutions to clients, incorporating their feedback and preferences.
7. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather accurate measurements and assess project feasibility.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architectural and interior design.
9. Research and source furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to align with the design concept and budget.
10. Prepare detailed specifications and schedules for procurement and installation of FF&E.
11. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
12. Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.

Requirements:
1. Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an Architectural/Interior Designer, with a portfolio showcasing previous projects.
3. Proficiency in using architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
4. Strong skills in creating detailed architectural and interior design drawings.
5. Ability to develop 3D models and produce high-quality renderings.
6. Excellent knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and building regulations.
7. Strong aesthetic sense and ability to create visually appealing and functional designs.
8. Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and team members.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
11. Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
12. Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and building control standards.
