Experience Level: Entry
I am replacing everything in my small bathroom. I have already purchased the fittings and fixtures and have sketched out how I want it to look, but don't have time to produce proper plans for the builder. I would like to send a designer/technologist my sketch, the room measurements, and links to the floor and wall tiles, bath, toilet, sink, taps etc that have been ordered, in order to create an accurate (ie to scale) 3D model of the bathroom. This model should be in full-colour so that I can determine if the selected tiles, fittings and paint palette fits with the aesthetic of my house.

    I’m interested in helping with your bathroom plan. To ensure I can deliver exactly what you need, I have a few questions:

    1- Do you require a technical 2D floor plan for the builder, a full 3D color model, or both?

    2- Would you like realistic rendering, or just a basic 3D visualization?

    3- Given the time and detail required, is your budget flexible to reflect the complexity of the final model?

    4- What file format does the builder prefer (PDF, DWG, SketchUp, etc.)?
