Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need 44 cathedral floor plans drawn for a family record. Some will be fairly detailed like Canterbury, but others simple like Carlisle. See item 3
Each chapter needs a small floor plan, drawn roughly to 1:2,500 but they need to fill width of A4 page width, as per example 1.
The walls and columns can be simplified (say 1-2mm thick) as per example 2. They are for reference and do not need to be accurate floor plans for construction.
The periods of construction need showing with colouring as per example 3. But the colours can be like item 1 template, rather than the colours shown on item 3
Both the floor plans and the colour chart needs doing for each [on lines of item 3 but with different colours as per item 1], so that I can input them into my Word document as an image
I will mark up on several numbered items that highlight areas on images as per template 1.
I also need a couple of measurement added for each to understand the size and a few names like’ nave’ or ‘cloisters’ for identification. I can provide these.
Outputs
Roughly 1:2,500 but taking up width of A4 page and roughly half the height
Probably best in pdf so I can insert as a picture into my Word template and size to fit, and needs to be 300dpi or will not print properly.
Simplified wall & columns thicknesses
The area of each section will need to be coloured to show date of construction. (Roughly 5 coloured sections per floor plan)
About 8 areas need labelling for identification
A couple of overall measurements need adding so the overall size is clear.
Copyright to be owned by me
I can send over in batches of 7 with first batch next week (if fee is agreed) - so best fee is per batch of 7, with final batch being for 8. The batches will be submitted roughly every alternate month
The suggested fee of £215 is for all 44, so please provide a fee for batch of 7 at a time but with final batch having 8 plans
Probably be best to agree an example first
I don’t think they will take a lot of time

this is quite a low amount for quite a lot of work, do you have any flexibility in budget?

£4 per drawing? Am I correct?
