Balcony "Interior" Design

I have a holiday let 1st floor apartment in Dornoch, Scotland. It has a balcony that is rather stark and unwelcoming, and I am wanting to make the balcony a special feature of the apartment, that feels comfortable and inviting, so that holiday guests can really enjoy it. I need some ideas and inspiration, ideally a 'design' please!

The apartment block is a new build, so quite modern (please see photo of the outside, my balcony is the one over the groundfloor entrance door), and I have sketched the floor plan of the balcony with dimensions per attached screenshot.
The 3rd photo attached shows the south facing view (which is long distance, but over the car park for the apartmentts), plus a simple view of the balcony with its basic garden furniture, and a partial view of the door leading back into the bedroom.

The apartment is about 1 minute walk from one of the best golf courses in the world, and around 6 minutes walk to stunning beach.
