Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
We are creating a glamping/cabin site on some land our business owns in Slovakia.
We are looking to work with an architect with experience in interior design, rendering and wooden framed buildings.
We require the following
- A reusable design of a wooden framed building that can be built on concrete pillars with no or very little planning permission needed
- Interior design using easily obtainable products from companies like Ikea or Hornbach. We have our own workshop, so we can customize these products
Assistance with complying with local laws and regulations (in Slovakia/Europe)
- Beautiful Renders for the purpose of finding investors and generating interest
The ideal candidate would have the following skill set
- The ability to practically visualize construction and have an understanding of real world construction
- Be able to take off the shelf products and parts, with small adjustments, make them into new and beautiful architectural objects
- Create high-quality, photo realistic renders
- Have an understanding of, ideally, Slovak construction law, but European construction law in general would be more than acceptable
- Work within our budget constraints both work wise and project wise
The structure should be quite simple using the following
- 50x100mm (4x2”) timber for framing with 100x100mm (4”x4”) for corners or similar
- OSB3 for roofing and flooring
- 12.5mm Plasterboard for the walls
- Metal sheeting for the facades
- Off-the-shelf doors and windows
The buildings will be a rectangular shape approximately 32m2 in total with
- 1 Bathroom
- 1 Bedroom
- 1 Living Room
- 1 Kitchen/Diner
Please see some images attached of the current ideas, upon application, we will provide details information on the project.
In regard to budget, we have the following option for a potential partner
- Project Price - Paid in full, this would be the easiest option for a Freelancer, but we have a strict budget as this is entirely self-funded
- Project Price - Paid 50% now + 60% on finding an investor - We are happy to pay a surcharge if the freelancer is willing to wait for the second half of the payment
- Equity Share - We can agree a small percentage of the business as equity to the chosen partner. There are strict conditions regarding this, but it would mean you could potentially receive a percentage of the land, buildings, and company resulting in regular dividend payments.
We look forward to hearing from you!
