Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
I’m looking to work with someone who can assist with the interior design and visualisation of my new apartment. This is not a concept or mood board exercise — it’s a real, active project moving toward renovation and furnishing very soon.
The person I’m looking for will:
- Consult on design decisions I’ve already made — offering feedback or refinements that support the overall vision, not override it.
- Help resolve specific design and layout challenges that are still undecided.
- Produce usable, accurate 3D visualisations and renders that reflect the final intended design and can be handed over for execution
The majority of finishes, furniture, and lighting have already been selected — with both budget and local availability in mind to avoid sourcing or logistics issues. You’ll be expected to work with these specific products unless there’s a compelling, practical reason to suggest an alternative that can be sourced easily where I am.
The apartment is a brand new one-bedroom unit, currently bare. It includes a spacious open-plan living room with a kitchen, a bedroom, a compact bathroom, and an entryway with a laundry nook. The design language is contemporary with industrial influences — clean lines, concrete, bricks, matte black metals, natural wood tones, and subtle warm accents. The goal is something honest, functional, and atmospheric, without unnecessary decoration.
You will be responsible for:
- Building a full 3D model of the apartment based on the provided floor plan and dimensions.
- Recreating furniture, appliances, and finishes based on real product links.
- Producing realistic renders of each space from agreed angles.
- Offering layout or design input where it improves function or solves real issues — without disrupting the core aesthetic or product choices.
I will provide:
- Floor plan (image with dimensions).
- Photos of the empty apartment.
- A product list with all furniture, appliances, lighting, switches, and materials (including links and dimensions).
- Notes on known layout or design problems that need solving.
Deliverables:
- A complete 3D model of the apartment.
- Realistic renders for each room/zone (exact views to be agreed).
- Optionally: top-down layout or cabinetry mockups if relevant to solving problem areas.
You must:
- Communicate clearly.
- Respect design constraints.
- Follow instructions precisely.
- Ask for clarification rather than guess.
- Be comfortable working with real-world product links and actual implementation goals.
To apply, please include:
- Portfolio examples of full-apartment or multi-room residential projects.
- Your total fixed price.
- Estimated delivery time.
