2D CAD Drawing Conversion – Potential Ongoing Work
I am looking for an experienced architectural technician or CAD draughtsperson to produce three 2D floor plans from a combination of existing drawings and hand-drawn graph paper sketches.
Scope of work
- Produce 3 individual floor plans.
- Supply files in both DWG and PDF formats.
- Drawings should be accurately scaled and suitable for use by contractors and consultants.
- Existing information will be provided as a mixture of drawings, sketches and dimensions.
Potential further work
The successful applicant may be engaged for additional work including:
- 3D modelling and visualisations.
- Building Regulations drawings.
- Construction details.
- Planning and technical drawing packages.
Please provide:
- Examples of similar residential projects.
- Your estimated fee and timescale.
- Confirmation of the CAD software used.
The drawings will ultimately be used by subcontractors and builders for pricing and construction purposes, so accuracy and clear presentation are important.

Hi, same question. I need the sketch to provide an accurate cost; based on my experience, £30 seems low to produce such work, but I appreciate it's entry-level. However, it may be extremely basic and hard to understand without first having the sketches to base costing off. Kind regards, Adam
