Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Hello,
My name is Alice and I am a Design Engineering student in my final year. As part of a project, I am redesigning a ‘waiting area/lounge’ at hospitals. It is supposed to be offered by a specific medical company but due to privacy issues we will call it Hype.
It should not accommodate more than 15 people and the staff would be of maximum 5. The small space would have a reception area and desk, couches, chairs, coffee table, displays for posters/information, two computers/tablet screens, and maybe a stand/bouffet for drinks and canapes.
It must be functional and ergonomic considering the limited space. In addition, the design should be simple but elegant, clear, evoke confidence and trust as well as having a touch of luxury. Definitely it must not have the conventional ‘hospital’ or ‘sickness’ atmosphere.
Any colour palette is welcome - in particular including some blue/yellow/white (being also the company’s logo).
I look forward hearing back from you and seeing any of your ideas or illustrations about this project! I would like to receive a few concept visualisations(3-5) and work together to finalise it. The price is fixed, 20pounds for the brainstorms and then a further 50 for the final one (with 3D pictures, elevations, floor plan views etc).
Kind regards,
Alice
