Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Industry: Publishing/Journalism
Design details: I'm producing webcasts at chess tournaments. Game announcers are commenting on the games and the players are explaining their games after. I show camera shots from the playing hall and add a graphic display of the current board position as well as a display of the analysis board the commentators are using.
Basically my webcast screen consists of three parts (video, a horizontal white bar and a blue vertical bar) and several elements (names plus rating of the players, analysis board, live board, sponsor logo and tournament logo). You can find them all in the photo I've enclosed.
Your job is to touch-up the design:
The white and blue bars need a modern look.
What is the right size for the sponsor logos?
How to deal with names that are too long for the blue bar?
How to make sure people understand that the position on the left corner is a live position on the board and the one on the right an analysis diagram (where people will usually look at).
Ideas for the visual style: Only tweaks needed
Where the design will be used: Webcast
Extra notes:
