Description
Experience Level: Entry
In order to offer a more branded and customized experience for our clients, we offer the option to present a “skinned” resident portal. This is accomplished by creating a css file that overrides our default set of styleshees to alter the appearance of the site. In addition to a css file, alternate versions of background image files need to be created. A typical css skin file contains between 300-600 lines of CSS, and about 20 background image files.
The skin files are based on a Photoshop file. The final result should approximate the .psd file with nearly pixel to pixel accuracy. There will generally be only two .psd files provided, however, one for the homepage, and one for a typical inner page. Any elements that are not included in the .psd files should be styled to look consistent with the overall theme.
