Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Design details: This needs to be completed by tomorrow morning
Outline brief
We are currently experimenting with our client, the use of infographics to get across facts and figures in a clear and easily understood visual way. Our client is not sure which direction to proceed and therefore is looking at a number of options.
In order to progress this for our clients, we are looking for an example front cover and an inside spread of how the draft text (see below) can be laid out in graphically in informative and interesting way.
We are attaching a flyer which highlights our client’ s current look and those elements should be used in this example design along with some sort of regional graphic to show Yorkshire and the Humber.
In addition we are also attaching an example of a brochure that the client quite likes and maybe would help inform the example. However this is not prescriptive what we are really looking for at this stage is the best way to highlight the information given in the draft below.
Background: BioVale is a new innovation cluster that is supporting development of the bio-based economy in Yorkshire and the Humber.
Scope: BioVale is looking for examples of Informatics, to make a compelling case for the BioVale concept and for the region as a natural home for bio-based business and innovation. The example content should be structured as follows:
• P1: front cover and vision of Biovale –including a map of the region
• P2-3: picture of current assets in the region -
Key themes running through the example should be flagged up:
• high-value chemicals from plants and microbes
• agricultural-technology
• next-generation biofuels and biorefineries
• value from biowaste.
Ideas for the visual style: See attached exmaples
