Hi,
Very tight deadline for this one to get it to the printers by tonight

The next bit is this (also A4 ):
"Office Fitness Active Classroom Range
MOBILE , ACTIVE CLASSROOM
The Dynamic Classroom
The Schools Fitness Active Classroom Range is designed to be a dynamic and mobile furniture range incorporating active seating and mobile height adjustable desks.
These create a flexible and adaptable environment allowing for easy transitions from one activity to the next while helping to keep students actively engaged throughout the day.
WHY ACTIVE CLASSROOMS ARE THE SOLUTION
1 in 3 children who leave primary school are obese or overweight
children spend longer sitting during a school day than a non-school day (up to 75% of the day)
4.5 hours a day at schools
+
7 hours a day looking at screens in a sedentary position
==================================================
Children are more engaged in a standing, active classroom
allows students to stand and move
burns more calories, better for health
increases focus and engagement
================================================
AirLift Desk £299 inc. vat
The AirLift Desk is the UKs first movable air assist height adjustable desk, allowing students to stand or sit, helping to promote good posture and burn increased calories whilst keeping attention levels high.
Mobile on four lockable casters, Airlift allows users to easily move it to different areas and supports a variety of room arrangements including classrooms, libraries and computer labs. The desk can be used by students and teachers, and for both collaborative
learning activities and solo work.
=========================================================
WHY STANDING IS THE SOLUTION:
Standing desks help curb obesity and get kids moving.
NORMAL WEIGHT KIDS BURN BETWEEN 15-25% MORE CALORIES AT STANDING DESKS
&
OBESE WEIGHT KIDS BURN BETWEEN 25-35% MORE CALORIES AT STANDING DESKS

Schools Fitness Primary School Ball Chair From £69.99 inc vat
Based on the best selling Office Fitness Ball Chair, the Primary School Ball Chair offers the same benefits to children for posture and core stability but additionally allowing wiggle room for children who need movement to facilitate learning
Designed with an anti-burst exercise ball and lockable castors as part of a flexible and dynamic classroom environment
Schools Fitness Ball Chair From £69.99 inc vat
The same great design and benefits but for older children and staff. The balls inherent instability requires core stability muscles to be engaged meaning micro-adjustments in order to balance. Lethargy and slumping in the seat during class time are reduced which act as precursors to disengaged behaviour. Available in 3 formats: no backrest, fixed backrest, adjustable backrest
Schools Fitness Mesh Ball From £79.99 inc vat
The most active sitting furniture of the range. Loved by children for the options for sitting and lying across to read during quieter periods. Loved by physios and chiros for the health benefits. Unlike standard swiss balls, the weighted and aerated mesh cover and handy grab tag ensure it stays by the desk rather than rolling across the classroom. Available in 3 sizes for both children and staff.
The Active School day
At Schools Fitness we are looking to go beyond the furniture range and suggest ideas for increased activity both inside and outside the classroom. Ideally we'd like to get the discussion going, provide the framework and let you ( the experts ) do the rest, sharing ideas on what is most effective with the top rated ideas surfacing to the top
Here's how we think it would work:
Active lessons – A Physically Active Lesson (PAL) takes a normal part of the school curriculum – be it Science, Art, History, or Maths – and adds an element of activity to re-enforce learning. This is particularly effective where learning by rote is required eg. maths times tables. As an example "Q: 3 x 2?" "A: 6 - bounce 6 times on the ball"
Active breaks – An active break is a short burst of activity designed to get children moving before, during, or after lessons to get energy levels back up. Taking between 2-5 minutes they are designed to be appropriate for the classroom space, but do not need to relate to the lesson content.
Active re-caps – Active re-caps can be used re-iterate the content of the lesson. For instance, in one activity the class could walk around the classroom with the teacher in the centre, asking questions and throwing a soft ball at random. The child that catches the ball must answer the question and through the ball back. This continues until all of the re-cap questions have been answered.
