Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: I have a mock-up and also an image of a style that I would like it to emulate
Industry: Entertainment
Design details: I will supply an image that I would like my map to resemble (similar style) and then also a mock-up of the features that I need to be represented on the map.
Ideas for the visual style: as attached
Extra notes:
UPDATE - I have added the mock up - it will need some further explanation but I would like it done in same style as copied image but in black and white. The three outer rings just need one icon each
High Sea - Cloud
Wild Sea - Pirate ship and a dragon
Here be Grannies - An old lady with a headscarf and a rolling pin
The main circle has a main island which is done in same 3d type style as copied image and can have whatever features illustrator wants as long as it has a small fjord/inlet leading to a lagoon. I want it to stand up from page. There are two other islands Dead Island and Cross Island. Cross island has four natural coves making it an almost cross shape and on the very top is an enormous skull fortress made out of a giant rodent skull with a jolly roger flag on top. Dead island can have whatever on it.
Please populate the sea with the annotated features. for example jellyfish, turtle, area of fog, siren tunnels (an area of underwater tunnels) etc where marked. The outer ring of the main circle is to be populated with the honeycomb islands (large chunks of floating honeycomb that move around the sea) not too many but enough to give the idea that they move round. Also in the same area of the honeycomb outer circle is something called the great shove off. I imagine that whole part as like a gulf stream pushing the islands around. PLease can this be illustrated as such.
Thanks
