Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Information for the business: We produce science resources
Industry: Education
Design details: I require scientific drawings of experiments in a variety of formats, including editable eps vector format, png and jpeg.
Initially I require a small number of drawings all with a distinctive recognisable style that can be used in our Lab Books and for us to own all the rights to the images. There is scope for more work if the initial batch of images are great.
Each diagram needs to be in two versions:
a) black & white - scientific drawing
b) colourful, bold and distinctive style but still showing main scientific features
These diagrams are all based around Electricity
1) Inside of a plug - use as guideline: http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/science/add_aqa_pre_2011/electricity/mainselectrev1.shtml
2) Fuse - similar to: https://cdn.gescan.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/g/o/gougdl15-4.jpg
3) Oscilliscope - https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f2/WTPC_Oscilloscope-1.jpg/220px-WTPC_Oscilloscope-1.jpg
4) Current- Voltage circuit in symbols: http://practicalphysics.org/images/IV%20characteristic%20of%20a%20filament%20lamp1_1752.jpg
5) Vab de graff generator: http://macao.communications.museum/images/exhibits/2_3_7_2_eng.png
6) Filament bulb: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b4/Gluehlampe_01_KMJ.png/170px-Gluehlampe_01_KMJ.png
Target audience: External GCSE Level students (so from ages 10+)
Ideas for the visual style: bold and colourful, distinctive
Things to avoid: replicating exactly as those shown in diagrams
Preferred colors: Some colours have to match those that are true (eg the wires in the plug)
Where the design will be used: print
Extra notes: To be completed within 2 weeks the very latest
Final images available in the 3 formats mentioned
Copyright to be assigned to us for use as we please.
