Experience Level: Expert
We need to create complete set of icons, pictograms, frames and other small images for PC video game. These images will be used in various parts of game interface. The pictures include chests, money, pistols, letters, goods, swords, boxes, ropes and many other things. All of them are from naval theme of Age of Sail period or from 16th-18th century theme.
Total number of different images to be created - around 200.
Some info about the game and its mood:
The game took place in 16th-18th centuries at the golden age of piracy and privateer activities. Player will represent a "gentleman of fortune" at sea, will sail, fight, trade, explore world etc. Nearly all action will be at sea or in ports, where player can only trade and pick up special missions.
Current design and coloring of ships and scenes is very realistic, and we like to avoid usage of cartoonish stylistic and coloring in the game. Also piracy in age of sail is very romantic theme thanks to luterature but we reduced that romantic component in the game and like to avoid any glamour here.
So, we need complete set of small images for items that would be present in various parts of player's inventory - in the ship's cargohold, in the player's personal chest, at the store etc.
I attached the preliminary list of images. Please look at it.
