Experienced Graphic Designer Needed – Realistic, Weathered Artwork for Gym Clothing Brand

I'm looking for an experienced graphic designer/illustrator to help develop artwork for my upcoming gym and mental health awareness clothing brand, Honour & Purpose.

I already have several concepts created using AI, which I will provide as references. However, I'm looking for someone who can take these ideas further and produce something more professional, refined and suitable for a premium clothing brand.

The First Project

I've attached two examples:

- Image 1: My original colourful design, featuring a hooded, muscular figure inspired by the Vitruvian Man.
- Image 2: An AI-generated interpretation showing roughly the direction I'd like to take the artwork.

I really like the weathered stone/statue appearance of the second image, particularly the realistic muscular anatomy, cracked textures and black-and-grey colouring.

However, the AI version is far too busy and overcrowded. There's too much happening in the background, and some of the detailing feels excessive.

What I'm Looking For

I'd like a designer who can:

- Redesign and refine the existing concept while maintaining its original identity and symbolism.
- Create realistic, detailed artwork inspired by black-and-grey tattoo designs, classical sculptures and weathered stone.
- Retain the muscular, faceless hooded figure and Vitruvian Man inspiration.
- Simplify the background and remove unnecessary clutter, allowing the main figure to stand out.
- Use predominantly black, grey, charcoal and weathered stone tones.
- Create a powerful, premium-looking graphic suitable for the back of oversized gym T-shirts.
- Incorporate Honour & Purpose branding in a way that complements the artwork rather than overwhelms it.

I'm not looking for cartoon-style illustrations, excessive effects or simply another AI-generated image.

I want someone with a creative eye who can improve the composition, proportions, detailing and overall quality.

Printing Requirements

The final artwork needs to be suitable for professional clothing production, with high-resolution print-ready files, a transparent background where appropriate, and editable source files.

Future Work

This is intended to be the first of several graphic designs.

I have other concepts I'd like to develop, including Atlas-inspired artwork and potentially male and female variations.

Ultimately, I'd like to build a collection of designs that share a consistent visual identity.

There will be opportunities for ongoing paid work with the right designer, although this will be developed gradually rather than being a fast-moving or high-volume project.

Ideal Designer

I'd particularly like to hear from designers experienced in:

- Gym/streetwear clothing graphics
- Realistic illustration and black-and-grey tattoo-style artwork
- Classical sculpture, mythology and distressed textures
- Preparing artwork for professional garment printing

I'm happy to discuss ideas and welcome creative input, provided the original concept and meaning remain intact.

As this is ongoing work. Affordability will be a key factor. Ideally £50 per edit. 'Per edit' will mean a male and female version. With around 5 edits required.
