Quirky & Creative Illustrators and Designers

Hi,

We're looking for skilled, inventive and creative illustrators with a strong background in graphic design to create maps as part of our series of Writing Maps.

The "maps" are an aide to creative writers and artists to inspire them to write. There will be a fair amount of text to include in the illustration, so you'll need to have excellent skills in typography and layout design. We will provide you with the text. The maps will be in full colour and on both sides of A3.

We have a clear idea of the kinds of maps we want, and like to work closely with our illustrators, but you should be someone with ideas of your own and able to make suggestions.

You will get full credit for your illustration on the final product, as well as copies of the printed versions, though we will own the illustration and artwork.

Work will begin around 1st March. The fee is per Map, and we're looking to complete 3 Writing Maps in total. In other words, we're looking for 3 different illustrators/designers.
