Mascot for new brand

Hi,

I looking to create a new brand called "MY" this will be used for various directories that I am launching, I need a character that can be adapted to suit every directory. For example the first one is mycarplake - so the character needs to be dressed like a carp fisherman, the next is myrestaraunt, then myskitrips, etc etc.

I need a great cartoon style character and brand logo, the MY will always stay the same, but the next part, ie: Carplake will be different with a character that is to do with the directory.

I am thinking something Alien like, maybe like Minions in despicable me. The first one is carplake, so lets get that done and then move on to the next. I also have loads of other design work so there will be lots of work throughout the year!
