Lllustrated Logo Design Needed

Design details: Hi

I have been asked to cost a job where the client is not happy with the previous designers work.

The old logo (attached) needs to be evolved, taking into consideration the following comments:

1. We would like to see the logo evolve so that it is welcoming, stands the test of time and is for everyone, forever.
2. We would like to see it worked up into a couple of designs in colour which we could feedback on.
3. Remove DCP and replace with Dawlish Countryside Park
4. Remove ‘where dogs can play’
5. The dog could be friendlier, less prominent and not look as tho it is chasing the bird. (The thinking behind the dog is that it is in a playful stance, but I’m not sure that has worked.) It’s also important to note that although it is good for dogs, it’s not just for dog owners.
6. The tree-lined hilltop is a good representation of the area – and the Park will be home to cirl buntings (birds).
7. The shape (circular) is ok, but open to suggestions.

Note that timescales are quite short for this task and I will require the final artwork in an illustrator format with fonts as necessary.
