Illustrator to create characters for an Ebook

E-book Illustrations.
24 pages A4

OBJECTIVE:
To create illustrations of a lovable family of characters to be used in an e-book (or range of e-books) by GiftsOnline4U. The books are all personalised.

I am looking for illustrations of each these characters to start with which would appeal to the target audience. These would then need to be developed in various drawings for each page of the book.

The front and back page will need to be cover pages.

AUDIENCE:
Children between the ages of 3 – 6 years old (approx.).

Ducks
Ducks are the most popular bird in the UK and the bird most familiar to young children. Also, there is a great nostalgia around ducks for adults as most will have experienced ‘feeding the ducks’ when they were children themselves.

Central Characters

The Waddles are a family of ducks who live in a thatched cottage on a riverbank.
Young Egbert Waddle is the main character, he is fun-loving and adventurous.
He lives with his dad, Willis, who loves fishing,

Mum, Winifred, who loves sailing.

His brother is called Bobby,

and his sister is called Blossom.


The books will be personalised with the following, these will need to be shown in some way in the book, but needs shown as a hint, so if the hand is showing it needs to have gloves or wearing a hoodie so cannot see the face.
