Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
As part of our new pub, The Three Locks', identity we have created an emblem that combines the Victorian origins of the building and it's significance in the industrial revolution as a canal boatmen's refuge when ferrying materials to and from London, with one of the Grand Union Canal's most popular residents - the toad. The cross between the Victorian gentleman with the toad is a representation of how the pub will be run - smart and sophisticated while remaining fun and not taking itself too seriously.
Now that the first couple of drawings have been created, we now need our character redrawn in a number of other poses for use in our marketing collateral and signage around the pub.
These poses include:
- Sitting back side on in a relaxed fashion, one leg crossing the other, glass in hand
- Sitting back front on relaxed fashion, one leg crossing the other, glass in hand
- Holding a wine glass up to the light
- Knife and fork in hand and bib tied around his neck
- Pointing left
- Pointing right
- Leaning on his stick one hand in his pocket, one leg crossing the other
We will need design files supplied with the final illustration exports and require an example sent over before we make a decision about the illustrator we wish to work with. This example will demonstrate that the style and design of one of these poses can be created maintaining a likeness to the emblem we already have.
Please provide me with an hourly rate, cost per image or quote for the finished job in your proposal.
Any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best,
Jake Cooper
