Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
Information for the business: Hospice
Design details: We require a friendly granny face aged around 80 (Caucasian) with short grey hair and glasses to be depicted in 6 x children's illustrations as described below.
This is going to be used for a booklet about our hospice, showing how we help families to create special memories in the most difficult times. This is based on a real family, who helped write the story with us.
1. Granny in bed in her bedroom on a cloudy day looking fed up with a sad teddy next to her
2. Fed up granny in hospital, with trolleys and a busy ward around her, same teddy bear next to her with hands over his ears
3. Granny in a bed near the sea, (our hospice: see Lewis Manning Hospice website to see what our building looks like), in a moveable bed, colour in her cheeks, eating cake and fish and chips, with nurses chatting next to her holding a cup of tea, and a smiling teddy eating cake too). (the crystal mentioned below might be twinkling in this picture)
4. Two little girls (one blonde and one brunette, around age 6 or 7, maybe wearing tutus, shoulder length hair) sitting on the edge of granny's bed watching their granny bounce the laughing teddy bear on the covers. A small crystal pendant (size of a large coin) hanging in the window of the room has light and rainbows from it).
5. Image of children in Wellington boots splashing in a small fountain outside Granny's hospice room, crystal twinkling and smiling teddy wearing Wellington boots too!)
[[Granny passes away in the hospice. (no image for this, this is just part of the story]]
6. The back of the two little girls heads, walking away each holding an arm of the teddy, then you see bubbles of memories around them, of granny smiling, granny crocheting, granny chatting to friends etc)
Many thanks,
Laura

Hi Laura
Very interesting job. Does it still open for proposals? Would you advice about style and a timeframe? Let me know if you would like to see my portfolio.
Thank you,
Alma -
Hi Laura,
can you please share some examples of the style you're looking for? Would you require doing a test sketch before awarding the job?
