Design details: Hi, I'm looking to work with an illustrator on our first children's book. It will include some full bleed page illustrations as well as vignettes to support the story and to give a sense of time progression and motion as the story unfolds/reaches important moments. I have given some examples below in terms of what we would want to achieve, so please check out these type of books. I am open to offers on this as the right person is key. Please also send me links to your work if you have it.

We aren't set in stone with the layout, and I am not wedded to the styles but here are some books we like in terms of illustration, story telling, physical sizes that we think would work for the story. They might also represent the amount of work involved.

A really useful proposal style would be:

Extra notes: We have more stories in development and more work will be available in future, if the first one goes well. I am also a video game developer of 20 years, so the stories will be able to migrate over to apps and potentially games in future. Obviously more work will be required at that stage.
