Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Blockstock is a late summer festival supported by Hackney Council taking place in Hoxton Sq. The aim of the festival is to challenge the way in which people think about money and bitcoin. For 10 days it will be home to a number of food stalls, vintage clothing markets, live performances, graffiti art and an arcade video game tournament.
The illustration should depict loads of these things happening within the square in a style similar to that of a "Wheres Wally" poster - but less cluttered.
Somehow it also needs to signify that instead of transacting with money they're using bitcoin instead. One suggestion we had is that all characters could be wearing the same bitcoin masks used in the Newsweek front page or with bitcoin lightbulbs above their heads; we are however open to other ideas.
Please check out hoxton square on google images/map. Have fun with it!
