I need a children's book illustrated

I am looking for an illustrator to lay out and bring my first children's book to life. I am looking for beautiful artwork, possibly watercolor or colored pencil. The subjects will include dogs (specifically Standard Poodles) and a young boy. This is a read aloud type book with an intended audience of 4-9 years old. The back of the book will have a few pages of actual photos and text, trivia and discussion questions. There is a mixture of 2 page spreads and 1 page illustrations, with a total of 32 pages (approximately 20 pages of illustration). This is my first time doing this, so there is a lot that I don't know, but I have ideas in mind. I have sketched a mockup of my idea, but am open to better ideas and suggestions! I'd like to find someone who is experienced in layout and illustration. Looking to pay a total flat fee (NOT HOURLY) and not deal with royalties this first time around. This book will be self published on Amazon. There is room at the end for an "About the Illustrator" if you'd like to be in the book.
