Help laying out text illustrations for children's story booklet

We are a small children's creative writing club based in West London. Each term the children write and illustrate a group story. I get them printed as A5 booklets but need some help with the design. I can lay out the text and illustrations on the pages I want them, but need help tidying it up and making it look good! I can send you examples of previous books.
Please could you let me know if this is something you can help with and also if you currently have availability.
