Design details: I'm going to be creating a set of marketing materials for a storytelling tour. The story itself is an intricate, fun, sometimes scary tale set in the 1800s, and will be performed on the streets of a historical city in England.
The first thing I want to create is a film-style poster for the main tour.
This is the kind of thing I'd usually do myself, but I want to effectively team up with someone to make sure the initial creative is as good as it can be. That's what this initial portion of the job is, rather than creating the poster itself. So, here's how I see it going with he successful applicant...
- I'll fill you in on the story of the tour
- We discuss the kind of general direction of the poster, and the things I want to include
- You do a stack of research, and come back to me with ideas & sketches for layouts, colour palettes, font examples etc.
- We develop these ideas back and forth into a clear plan for the poster
At that point, I'll either go ahead and make the poster myself, or potentially begin a separate job for you to make it. But just to be clear - this initial job is JUST for the pre-production/art direction element, so please quote accordingly.
