Design a World Coin Collector Map

Hello,

I am producing a coin collectors world map. This will be similar to the ‘scratch off’ world maps that you can see in the link below, however instead of scratching off countries, users will be required to collect physical coins for each country.

The map will be made of thick card and will have coin shaped holes for the specific coins cut into it. For example, a British pound would have a circular hole with a 23mm diameter. Some countries use the same currency (for example the Euro), so in these cases we will use various coins of that currency where possible.

We would also like to test the idea of having some of the major currencies (GBP, EUR, USD, AUD etc) on the actual map (in the country or beside the country).

Since most coins will be silver or gold, the map will need to follow this colour scheme.

Please can you show me any similar work you have previously done and let me know what other ideas you have for the design? Please also let me know when you could have some draft ideas prepared.
