I want to give my partner a personalised papercut for our anniversary.
It would be ideal if any designers reading this understand what a papercut is.
They are cut from a single piece of paper so the whole image, although made up of silhouette type images and sometimes text, has to join to each other. There cannot be any isolated parts as when the final product is cut it has to all be in one piece. I've attached some images of the type of thing i mean - You'll see that its joined up.
The theme for the papercut is 'lockdown', specifically UK lockdown. I would like to incorporate elements, things, events and people that remind us in the UK of lockdown since march 2020.
The finished product will be going into a square frame so the width of the piece needs to be roughly the same as the height.
IMPORTANT - there needs to be a banner ribbon running through the middle where i can add my own text. i have attached a photo for inspiration.
ideas of things to maybe include -
Zoom/Work meetings
Socialising online
Tiger King
Toilet paper/Toilet rolls
Banana Bread
Netflix
Face masks
Alcohol, wine, beer
stay home, stay safe rainbow
hand washing
2 metres distance
Joe Wicks PE
home schooling
PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOURSELF FORWARD IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BRIEF.
This has to be an original collage that all joins up around a central ribbon banner.
