Hi There,
We're looking to create a new image theme for our brand. We are a server hosting company based in the UK.
We've had an idea for a theme, which is using 1800's/Victorian British engineering (i.e. The Industrial Revolution), to represent modern day server equipment which we ourselves operate. For example a data centre with lots of isles of servers, running on coal, with boilers, steam, valves gauges, little men/operators, shoveling coal - etc! I.e. very steam punk-esk.
I'm looking to create a proof of concept web header image, of a data centre (google image "data centre" to get the idea), where we can apply our imagination to add in our idea of steam punk (coal, firemen, boilers etc).
What we're trying to do with the idea is bring in England's love of their industrial revolution heritage, and correlate those ~200 year old concepts to today's modern computing landscape. For example;
Instead of wires = pipes.
Instead of electricity = coal.
Instead of led lights = gauges.
Instead of lights = gas lanterns.
Etc etc.
I like the idea of the image being largely in gray scale, however with ripple of our brand colours running through. To see example of another technology vendor that achieves this, google image "sonicwall fear less".
Please see our two colours within the attached logo of ours (blue/magenta). You don't have to use both if it doesn't make sense to.
If this pilot image goes well, we anticipate a requirement for a further 10 - 15 images for our new website and other marketing material.
I hope this has been helpful! We're super excited to see somebody's creative abilities shine, coupled with solid research on the concepts we're looking at.
Any queries, please shout and bidders only from the Europe/UK please.
Jack
