Children’s Game instructions Illustrator

Hi! I’m looking for an illustrator to create a set of 5 clean digital illustrations for a board game instruction guide.

I currently have 5 AI-generated reference drawings that show the exact scenes/compositions I need, but I need them redrawn from scratch by a human illustrator as original artwork with no AI tools used at any point. These illustrations will be used commercially for a physical board game.

This project is focused on recreating the concepts and layouts clearly (instructional visuals), not creating new scenes from scratch.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Redraw 5 reference images into clean, professional digital illustrations
• Maintain the same composition/action so it matches the game instructions
• Improve clarity and consistency across all 5 illustrations
• Deliver final artwork in print-ready format

Style Needed
• Simple, clean, easy-to-understand visuals (instruction guide style)
• Consistent characters/objects across all images
• Minimal background / clean lines preferred
• Color or black & white is okay (depending on your style — please share recommendations)

Deliverables
• 5 final digital illustrations
• High-resolution files suitable for print
• Preferred formats:
• Editable source files: AI / PSD / Procreate / SVG
• Exported files: PNG (transparent background) + PDF

IMPORTANT: No AI Policy

This is a strict requirement:
• No AI-generated art
• No AI-assisted drawing
• No Midjourney / DALL·E / Stable Diffusion
• No AI “image-to-image” redraw tools
• No AI tracing/filters
Artwork must be 100% human-created and original.

You must be comfortable confirming that your work is created without AI and can provide progress screenshots if needed.

What I Will Provide
• The 5 reference images
• Notes on what each illustration needs to communicate
• Any game components/character references if applicable

Ideal Illustrator
• Strong linework and clean digital illustration skills
• Experience creating instructional illustrations or board game art is a plus
• Great communication and willing to revise based on feedback
