MAIN: reinventing our two books into bright, eye-catching children's books! We want to keep original illustrations but beef up and create 'backgrounds' for each double page (26 characters in each book. We also would like two new front covers redesigned!
We are a Young Enterprise Company from Stratford-Upon-Avon Girls' Grammar School and have created two children's poetry books- THE BRILLIANT BOOK OF BOOKS FOR GIRLS AND THE BRILLIANT BOOK OF BOOKS FOR BOYS. These contain poem summaries about characters from classic literary novels. We have proceeded through the competition to the West Midlands Final (12th June) and are now looking to reinvent the books!
We're looking for a new bright, bold book with a new format as currently the photos/poems are in a boring format (see attached files). Please note each book has a character for each letter of the alphabet and we are also looking for new front cover designs aka. new 'backdrops' for 52 poems and 2 new front covers! Please see attached pdf of our current boys book - we are looking to have the new books completed with the new formats by the end of May!
Please don't hesitate to ask us questions about the books! Thank you for any interest/help you can give us - we'd love to have a sample eg. take a double page spread from the books and redesign the background - as a scenic illustration relating to the novel the character comes from eg. for Caliban, an illustration of the sea/shipwreck behind the poem/character.
Please don't hesitate to ask us any questions as we'd love to hear from you! We need the book designs finished by the 28th May latest!

***IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE OUR CURRENT ILLUSTRATIONS WILL WORK WITH NEW CARTOON LIKE BACKGROUNDS THEN WE'D BE WILLING TO RECONSIDER AND GET NEW ILLUSTRATIONS DRAWN FOR THE WHOLE BOOK
