CHILDREN’S BOOK ILLUSTRATOR & DESIGNER – MULTI-BOOK PROJECT

I am looking for an illustrator/book designer for an ongoing children’s book series.

The project involves:
• Three new illustrated children’s books
• One existing book revision/update (PSD files already available)

The revised book will mainly require adjustment, refinement, pagination updates, and improvement of existing artwork rather than creating a completely new book from scratch.

Budget:
• £200 per new book
• Revised existing book priced separately at a lower rate due to existing artwork/assets already being provided

For EACH new book, I require:
• 10x10 inch children’s book layout
• Full cover design
• Pagination and interior page layout
• Placement of supplied text into the book
• Approximately 15 illustrations
• Consistent character design for the main character “Emna”
• Final print-ready and digital-ready files
• PSD/source files supplied at completion

Book Style:
The books focus on culture, history, landscapes, forts, rivers, and heritage connected to Jammu (Bhimber, Kotli, and Mirpur). The style should feel warm, cinematic, educational, and suitable for children.

Important:
• The stories and creative direction already exist
• This is not a completely from-scratch concept development project
• Consistency across all books is extremely important
• Long-term collaboration preferred

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator

• Confirmation you are happy to provide PSD/source files

Bonus if you have experience with:
• Historical/cultural illustration

• Social media promotional artwork or animation
