We are looking for someone to cast a fresh eye over our current reports and be our go to person for new reports. Please read very carefully before applying ...
We need a graphic designer with significant experience in producing business reports and deep understanding of current trends in infographic technology.
The ability to turn numbers/tabular data into outstanding graphics is the core expertise we require. This requires a rather unique mix of wide experience of the different ways that numbers can be presented with the creativity to produce a great piece of work and understanding of the art of the possible in terms of current coding. Very simply there is no point in producing some wonderful graphic if we can't code or produce it in volume.
If you think you are right for this work:
1) Please provide at least six samples of work you have produced that you consider fit our requirement
2) Confirm if you have any experience with or have worked with someone converting Excel or other data into charts or dashboards (Crystal Reports, Excel charts, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik)
3) Provide a very brief resume of your experience and qualifications, highlighting those areas that you feel are most relevant to this requirement.
Output
We need the final product to "zing" in that special way that makes the reading of numerical data a joy!!
We will provide you with PDF of the original report(s). We require original artwork file and PDF of the finished result
We have about a half a dozen reports initially that we would want redesigning but we consistently have a requirement for new reports throughout the year. This project is for one or perhaps two reports to test out how we work together.
About you
We need someone who speaks fluent English (probably Mother Tongue) and is available on Skype, or if you are based in the UK would be willing to meet one to one.
It is unlikely that we would offer this project to anyone with anything less than a Cert 4, unless you produced an outstanding response (and so many people do not)
Finally, we will not answer your reply unless you start your reply with the word BLACKPOOL in capital letters (forgive me, but this ensures that we don't waste time on freelancers who haven't even read our post).
