Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
Information for the business: We sell a digital background music service to retailers, cafes, etc via a network of resellers
Industry: Internet/Software
Design details: Audencis has up until now been marketed to audio service businesses as a flexible "platform" which can be used by them to launch their own branded licence-free background music & messaging service, In order to appeal to a wide range of potential resellers the proposition has been kept broad with the upshot that communication has failed to get across what precisely is on offer. We are repositioning the business to a more focused and easy to understand proposition of "brilliantly simple in-store radio". The name Audencis will remain, the strap line will change to 'brilliantly simple in-store radio'. The colour palette will remain as is but can be supplemented with an additional colour or accents. (see attached guidelines) What we require is (1) very simply, the logo updated with new strapline (2) a set of graphics that will help to communicate this new proposition - a central graphic, brand icon, illustration that supports / reflects / helps communicate the central proposition and then some secondary graphics in a similar family style that would illustrate some support messages (c6 in total). e.g. "includes music" (these are set out in that attached pdf). I envisage you'd propose get say 3 options / directions initially and then choose one and develop it through. I'd want to see how the graphics might be deployed(s) show how these wcould be applied to website homepage and an exhibition banner. I would like the graphics to infuse some personality into the brand but bear in mind this is a business to business proposition targeting hard nosed hard pressed small business people
Target audience: Potential resellers (not end users) of the service - typically Owners of small med sized audio service businesses - hard nosed, cynical, seen it all - we need to stand out as a refreshing new relevant disruptitive service and great business opportunity for these resellers.
Ideas for the visual style: I have a couple of thoughts but I don't want to constrain you other than by budget! You will see the logo deploys an orange underline that "morphs" into a musical note - perhaps this could be extended and used as a consistent device to cleverly illustrate the messages? Or as per the PDF you will see I have done some v rough photoshop illustrations using our blue and orange - ie could just create illustrations using those (and another? ) colour
Things to avoid: Stock photography,
Preferred colors: See attached brand guidelines
Urls to draw inspiration from: http://www.audencis.com
Where the design will be used: Across all branded comms esp website and upcoming trade show sales literature.
Extra notes: Simple is usually best. We would want illustrator files, a mix of hi res and low res versions to get us going of finished artwork.
