Description
Experience Level: Entry
Please quote for:
I need a medical infographic that includes the mouth/stomach/intestines/colon, kidney, liver, muscles, and fat cells for a demonstration on what our supplement does.
first: ingestion of starch and simple sugars (Upper GI) from meal
add effect of alpha-amylase blocker -> most shunted to colon; some broken into simple sugars (which add to the other simple sugars eaten with starch)
add effect of alpha-glucosidase blocker -> most shunted to colon; some broken into glucose
add effect of SGLT1 blocker -> moderate amount shunted to colon; some absorbed into intestine and circulation
add effect of SGLT2 blocker -> some circulating glucose shunted to urine
add effect of AMPK activation and PPARγ partial agonist -> decrease glucose being added to blood from liver (gluconeogenesis)
-> increase in skeletal muscle uptake (shunting glucose out of circulation)
-> increase in fat cell breakdown into FFA -> liver -> ketones
