Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We need 3 different cartoon characters done - it is for a training whitepaper. The whitepaper has a serious tone, but would like the cartoons to be a bit more fun. Listed below are the 3 that we need done. I can supply the actaul whitepaper if you need more background. We would need these finished by friday (earlier would be great, I would need them as high res jpg/tiff files, and in colour.
Please only apply if you know you can do this job because we dont not have alot of time for this project.
Gerard: The guardian of ideals
Gerard, a consultant of some 30 years, wears a somewhat hangdog air; careworn and somewhat listless until we start talking about the latest reorganisation, when his energy appears to rise from the depths and pour out in a highly articulate and well-informed critique.
Penny: Trying to stop the pendulum
Penny, an experienced manager who has seen a lot in her time as nurse, matron and now in charge of the department: she feels stuck in the middle between a panicking senior management and a group of staff who say, ‘yes, we can do more but we need the resources’. When performance deteriorates, the pendulum swings and somehow more resources are found; when performance returns to somewhere near okay the pendulum swings again and there is pressure to reduce the resources again.
Matt: Trying to feel as if he matters
Matt, a keen young graduate in one of the hospital laboratories. At least he is still keen, but that enthusiasm is gradually being beaten out of him by the realisation that the labs appear to be a forgotten service, only remembered when something goes wrong. No one has ever asked Matt for ideas about how to improve the flow of samples and testing and how to reduce the number of errors. He has taken to clock-watching and keeping his head down. Activities outside work are taking an increasing amount of his energy.
