WORD and ACROBAT PRO DC import Data Fields from Excel

WORD and ACROBAT PRO DC - I want to learn to import different data fields from Excel into word or pdf documents. The fields are Name, Address, Date, etc. Some of the fields in the document are repeated in several places.
I can do it in PDF > but I want the document to have a text field that auto adjusts the size to the specific length needed on that text field. For example a name Joe Doe takes less space than Johnathan Stransburgenfort.
And I do not know how to make it self adjusting in PDF as I do in Word with the Insert Text Box function.
Then, these text fields (1 to 10 or more) I want to import from an Excel spreadsheet.
